Mental health advocate, occasional blogger and youtuber, baking enthusiast, yogi, bridezilla (for now) and mother of two.
I started blogging a long time ago, longer than I care to admit cause it makes me feel old although I'm actually only 25 this year.
Now I blog about the thing that I know: mental health, parenting, shopping, weddings (yay!) and food.
I've had anorexia nervosa for seventeen years now, it's been a journey of ups and downs that've talked about for as long as I've been on the Internet.
I am currently in recovery which you can follow more closely over on my Instagram @hllylzbth.
I talk about mental health a lot because it needs to be spoken about. I think there is way too much stigma surrounding mental health problems. I have multiple diagnosis along with my anorexia which I talk about as well. Shouting out about mental health is so, so important. No one should be left alone or stigmatised because they're unwell.
2011 was the year I became a mother. I had Dylan that May and it was life changing. He's a fireball for sure and he's taught me so much about the world while I've been trying to teach him.
Crazy!
This was on the This Morning set. And I did t swear on live TV!
Isla was diagnosed with Diplegia Cerebral Palsy this year. It's been a rough ride full of lessons that we've experienced in very quick successions. She is the brightest spark I have ever come across. She is brave and passionate and so full of sass that she puts me to shame.
Harrison and I have been together for eleven years. That is a long time!
He's an amazing father and on the side a personal trainer/manager at a gym with a beard and a passion for picking up heavy things.
We've been through our fair share of insanity but there's no one I'd rather go through it with.
And now we're getting married!!
I have waited eleven years for this you guys!!!!
I apologise for advance for the onslaught of wedding related posts you guys are about to experience.
I'm currently training to be a counsellor and baking many many cakes in the side. I also spend a lot of time upside down or in strange poses on my yoga mat.
I'm a passionate vegan and an even more passionate cook! I love to throw it down in the kitchen and invite people over to eat so look out for recipes over on my food page! But don't get me wrong, while I'm cooking gorgeous, healthy vegan treats and finding my zen on my mat I am absolutely down for a
The thing I am most passionate about (children aside) is helping people. Spreading light and love and supporting people who meed it whoever and however I can. I believe we all have the ability to spread love and not enough people take the time to do so.
I have dreams that are focused on helping others and that is where I will end up.
In the mean time I'm here. With my every changing motivation and a tendency to word vomit.
Welcome to my life
